24MA IN MASS COMMUNICATION1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A candidate seeking admission to the M.A. in Mass Communication programme must have passed a Bachelor's Degree from Manipur University or any other recognized University/Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). 2. MINIMUM MARKS REQUIRED: Candidates must have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate at the Bachelor's Degree level. A relaxation of5% marks shall be admissible for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. 3. DISCIPLINE ELIGIBILITY: Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply for admission to the programme. 4. FINAL-YEAR CANDIDATES Candidates appearing orawaiting results of the final year/semester examination of the qualifying degree may also apply, subject to producing proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission. 5. AGE LIMIT There shall be no upper age limit for admission to the M.A. in Mass Communication, that the candidate must possess a Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade for General and OBC.
